Shawn Karns, Executive Director of Wildlife Investigators Training Alliance, has served as a Wildlife Criminal Investigator for over 29 years. He specialises in complex investigations involving commercialisation, interstate and international transportation, and excessive harvest. He has participated in over 1000 wildlife investigations across the US and North America and has led multiple long-term international investigations into wildlife trafficking. Shawn also has extensive training and experience in digital evidence seizure and recovery. He routinely employs digital forensic tools to expose criminal networks.
